Alison was in the foster care system in the state of Illinois and is a junior undergraduate student of Illinois State University, where she is pursuing her degree in Social Work with a focus in Psychology, Sociology, Law, and Anthropology. Her prior experience with Together We Rise allowed her to participate several benefit events for foster youth and this will be a valuable experience to fall back on in the Foster Youth Internship (FYI) Program.
