Chad is a sweet and sensitive child, who continues to fight hard to fit in. Chad was placed in his current foster home approximately 8 months ago and has made tremendous growth! He experienced multiple traumas as a child, to include homelessness. During the time his family was homeless he missed over 62 days of school in his previous school year. His new school was unsure if he could catch up due to all of his missed school, but he has proved them wrong! Although he is still a full school year behind his peers he is moving full speed ahead in making strides towards improvement. Chad was awarded two medals and four certificates for his progress in school to include: English and Math Improvement Award, Literacy Growth Award, Excellent Attendance Award and Super Citizenship Award. He is an artistic child. He loves any kind of art from drawings to video game graphics. He hopes to one day design a game himself. He currently loves to play Mortal Kombat with his friends and admires the work put into it. He wants his future game to help kids like him and show them they can be anything they want to be.
