Hayden is outgoing, makes friends easily. She and her brothers have been in and out of the Massachusetts foster care system for almost 8 years. Despite the challenges she has faced she is a very positive, fun loving and affectionate child who loves her siblings. She has been living with her grandfather for two years and he is her legal guardian. He is retired, on a very fixed income, and is not in a position to also be a caregiver to her older brothers. They are being cared for by other adults in a legal, but temporary, guardianship arrangement and do not get to see one another regularly.
