Jay is a spunky little girl who has been without a real place to call home for over two and a half years. Jay has been placed in group home after group home and even resided in a hospital for close to a year due to no available homes for her to stay in. Prior to being “in the system”, Jay was exposed to every kind of abuse out there. Because of this, Jay has no real family or friends in her life. Jay has not been in a normal school setting for many years and as such, she is not on track educationally. Jay is just now learning how to spell four letter words and is now learning her vowels. Despite being so far behind in school and in her learning, Jay is a very bright young girl. She is savvy when it comes to personal interactions and is very quick to pick up on things. In addition to being bright, Jay is very sweet and fun to be around!
