Philip has endured immense childhood trauma and does not have any family or support systems within the community. In spite of this he is a very intelligent, artistic, and resilient young man. Phillip is struggling to adjust to high school and is having trouble academically, however, he s determined to succeed. Philip states that he has hopes and dreams and that he will have a great life in the future.
