Kayla is a smart, knowledgeable young lady who wants to be a lawyer when she grows up and has a recent interest in volunteering at a local hospital after school. She is also on the cheerleading team at her high school. Kayla is working on anger issues and containing her temper. She can be demanding but also has a caring nature and despite their tension towards each other, loves her family. Kayla, in spite of being in placement still has dreams of what she wants to become and has established friendships with her foster mother, the foster mother’s adult daughter and within her new school.
