Elisha began her involvement with DCPP at a very early age (2000). She was placed in a licensed resource home in 2001 until she was eventually moved in with a relative in 2002. Elisha’s mother had significant issues with substances and passed away, her father was not in her life. Over the years she has struggled with loss and feelings of acceptance. Despite her family history she remained strong and focused on her education. She continues to be involved with DCP&P system and now is going to college.
