One Simple Wish

Kathy, 24 years old, NC

Kathy used to be in foster care when she was younger. She was adopted, but later the adoption went bad. She ended up homeless and pregnant, and her boyfriend has not been a support to her during this pregnancy. She is looking for her way through the tough times, and has made some good choices for herself. In fact, she just finished a class that will allow her to finally get her diploma. She has goals to get a job. She hopes to develop a more powerful voice for herself, and overcome some of her shyness.
