Trent is a sweet young man who battles adversity in many ways in life. His father passed away when he was young and he lives at home with his Mom, older brother and younger sister. As the middle child squeezed between siblings with some higher tier needs, Trent finds himself stuck at home with little to do these days. Building is one of his favorite things - more specifically, building projects in the STEM fields. Not only does he love math and science but this passion has helped him really turn things around in the couple of years he has been matched with a Big Brother in the BBBS program. In fact, he recently got straight A's for the first time ever due to his increased focus!
