Ellie entered foster care at 15 before finally emancipating at 21. She is a single parent to two young boys and a full-time college student. Her dream is to one day be a teacher but she is still working to overcome the challenges of aging out. Soon after she left care, she became pregnant, dropped out of college, and ended up homeless. She is still overcoming the challenges of being in foster care and aging out with no support.
