Angela is extremely proud of her two biggest accomplishments: raising her, now adult, children on her own as a single mother and graduating college! Although she finished college later than most people, she never lost her determination to achieve her lifelong goal of obtaining a degree. Her biggest struggle with foster care was not being able to locate the original documentation of her birth when she was adopted by an American family. Having to fight to become a "legal" citizen was long and draining process, made harder by the loss of these documents. However, Angela looks back at these times and thinks of how she was able to persevere through it come out of it as a stronger person.
