JaMarcus is a very quiet child. He tends to withdraw from others because h was severely abused when he was a toddler and is still afraid of people hurting him. He lives with his grandparents who are devoting their life to help him become a secure young man who feels safe. He doesn't make friends easily but has one best friend that has a very similar story so they bonded quickly. He does a lot of reading and enjoys working big puzzles. There are also 5 other cousins living with them that their grandparents are raising.
