Charlie is a young man that would spend all his time fishing and sleeping if he could. He is passing school now but has to be encouraged to study. Before he and his sister went to live with their grandmother, he was truant and failing school so he has come a long way even though he doesn't like school. He likes to try new things and has no fear of adventure. He jokes that he will be a stunt man when he's grown but he really wants to be a long haul truck driver.
