Leyuna is going into the 7th grade. She is currently in placement with a cousin after several years of being in a group home and she has adapted very well. Leyuna lost her father a couple years ago and is learning how to process this along with her mother being incarcerated. She is currently attending a summer bridge program for school and she is making progress to ensure she is on track. She helps her cousin as much as she can. Leyuna is very caring and she has a huge heart. She is becoming independent and learning how to advocate for herself. Her team is very proud of her accomplishments.
