I’Ona is a responsible, independent, hardworking individual. She recently obtained her driver’s license, is working part-time, and is excelling in school. She demonstrated responsibility and a strong work ethic by working while in high school and saving money to purchase her own car. I’Ona is emancipating from foster care in May 2023 and has been accepted into Youngstown State with the hopes of achieving her goal of being a dental hygienist! She is following all the necessary steps to prepare for college and plans to be a part of the Bridges program. I’Ona is a shining example of what we would hope for all of our teens emancipating from foster care!
