Aisha is courageous and brave. She is defying the statistics for children and youth who have been in foster care; she graduated from High school last year and is in her first year of college. Although the transition has been difficult, she is succeeding! This is her second time in foster care. After being adopted as an infant, her mom suddenly passed away when she was 14, leaving her with no family to care for her. So she has been in care again for almost five years. To say it's been challenging is an understatement, but Aisha is beating the odds with grace and dignity.
