Ferrah is a truly inspiring woman who has faced and overcome many challenges in her life. At just 16 years old, Ferrah found herself without a home after her adoptive family asked her to leave because she was pregnant. Despite this setback, Ferrah has been an amazing single parent to her child with the help of DCFS and extended foster care. Family is incredibly important to Ferrah, and she has even reconnected with her biological mother and siblings. She's always looking for ways to support them and others in similar situations. Ferrah has a heart of gold and enjoys helping others, which is why she's pursuing a career as a registered nurse. In her free time, she likes to do hair and makeup. We're lucky to have Ferrah as a shining example of resilience and kindness.
