Astra is an amazing young woman who has been with the housing program for about a year. Astra has received her medical certification and has been working with a local primary care doctor's office as a Medical Assistant. She was previously homeless and living in her car prior to coming into the housing program. Her goal is to work as a medical assistant in an Optician's office.
