Me'Syah entered the foster care system at the age of 15. Her mother left her alone and unsupervised as she sought for treatment for substance abuse. Me'Syah has suffered through a history of physical and verbal abuse. She is now safe in a resource home and is beginning to thrive. She is currently thinking about her future and is maintaining honor roll in school.
