Me'Syah has been wanting a cross-body bag as her old bag is close to falling apart. She would like one for the safety it offers in terms of carrying it in front of her while she is bussing back and forth from school. It's also large enough for her to keep her favorite water bottle in there!
Me'Syah is 16 years old and lives in NJ
Me'Syah entered the foster care system at the age of 15. Her mother left her alone and unsupervised as she sought for treatment for substance abuse. Me'Syah has suffered through a history of physical and verbal abuse. She is now safe in a resource home and is beginning to thrive. She is currently thinking about her future and is maintaining honor roll in school.
