Serina entered the system after her mother was not able to care for her due to her mental health issues. Serina was treated in a facility and has made so much improvement that she is now living in a small foster home where she is able to enjoy age-appropriate activities and freedom for the first time since entering the facility. Serina has really enjoyed getting to be outside and playing in the sun. She is adjusting well to her newfound freedom and to the family. They say she is a joy to have in their home and want to provide her with much-needed normalcy and love.
