Serina is struggling to find activities outside of her new small family home that are healthy, low-cost, and excite her. In February, her mother took her roller skating for their visit, which she enjoyed. During her last team meeting, several team members mentioned that she would make a great “Derby Girl,” which brought her an innocent, shy, and sweet smile that most hadn't seen before. This gift will encourage her to explore this hobby that could make her feel special and tough in a healthy way. It would also offer a path towards establishing friendships with other women who may provide her mentorship and inspiration about her future. She has a birthday coming up and would be so excited to open these skates on her birthday!
