Brooke, 27 years old, CO

Brooke is a caring, and organized young woman who approaches life with quiet determination and thoughtfulness. After spending 11 years in foster care and aging out at 18, she developed a strong appreciation for stability, family, and community. These experiences continue to shape her desire to build a meaningful and grounded future. She is currently a full-time Biology student, working hard toward her education while focusing on personal growth and self-understanding. Brooke enjoys school and finds comfort in creative and calming activities such as crocheting, knitting, and art. She also values learning new things and uses these interests as a way to ease her mind and manage anxiety. Brooke’s current goals include improving her social skills and becoming less isolated, continuing her studies to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and preparing to begin a job within the next two years. She is also focused on achieving passing grades in the upcoming spring semester as she continues to build momentum toward her future.
