A desk for Brooke to comfortably finish school work
Brooke, 27 years old, CO
Wish submitted by:
Foster Alumni MentorsBrooke is a caring, and organized young woman who approaches life with quiet determination and thoughtfulness. After spending 11 years in foster care and aging out at 18, she developed a strong appreciation for stability, family, and community. These experiences continue to shape her desire to build a meaningful and grounded future. She is currently a full-time Biology student, working hard toward her education while focusing on personal growth and self-understanding. Brooke enjoys school and finds comfort in creative and calming activities such as crocheting, knitting, and art. She also values learning new things and uses these interests as a way to ease her mind and manage anxiety. Brooke’s current goals include improving her social skills and becoming less isolated, continuing her studies to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and preparing to begin a job within the next two years. She is also focused on achieving passing grades in the upcoming spring semester as she continues to build momentum toward her future.
Brooke is currently studying to get her degree in biology. Her workspace is falling apart and barely held together, making studying and homework more difficult and stressful. This wish would provide Brooke with a comfortable and functional workspace to complete assignments and study for upcoming exams.

"I want to thank you. I have been struggling a lot with school and life in general. With everything that has gone through my life within the year has been overwhelming. I do not receive nice things, I do not get Christmas presents or celebrate my birthday or any holidays, because I don't have a family. This wish means a lot to me because I know that no one is forced to do this but instead does it from the heart. I thank you so much again and stuck for words on how to explain how much this helps."
