Stephanie spent nine years in the foster care system, struggling with PTSD after being taken from her mother due to abuse. As a teenager, she experienced violent tendencies but found comfort in praying, talking to her foster mom, and seeking support from social workers, therapists, and friends. She is proud to have overcome her mental health challenges. Although she grew up in a violent environment, she received the necessary help to become a more peaceful person. Stephanie envisions owning a business, a home, and being a great mom to her daughter, while happily married to her boyfriend of two years. Her favorite activities include praying and reading the Bible, as she believes God has helped her through many struggles. She also loves to care for others and spend time with her family.
