As a teenager, she experienced violent tendencies but found comfort in praying, talking to her foster mom, and seeking support from social workers, therapists, and friends. She is proud to have overcome her mental health challenges. Although she grew up in a violent environment, she received the necessary help to become a more peaceful person. Stephanie envisions owning a business, a home, and being a great mom to her daughter, while happily married to her boyfriend of two years. Her favorite activities include praying and reading the Bible, as she believes God has helped her through many struggles. She also loves to care for others and spend time with her family.

Stephanie recently graduated from beauty school with the hope of starting her own business as an esthetician. Since graduating, she has been struggling to find the funds necessary to purchase the supplies and equipment required to launch her business. A full-length mirror is essential for Stephanie as it allows her to see her clients’ reactions and the confident expressions on their faces when her work is complete.
