LaResha, 29 years old, KS
LaResha entered foster care at a young age, around two years old, and spent much of her early childhood moving between various foster placements and family homes. At the age of eleven, she was placed back into the foster system, where she encountered numerous challenges. Despite missing her family, LaResha found solace in living with her cousin, aunt, and uncle when she turned thirteen. They welcomed her into their home with open arms, providing her stability and the opportunity to succeed. Although she exhibited some rebellious tendencies due to years of feeling trapped in different situations, she eventually chose to pursue a fresh start through the S.P.A. program and lived there until she turned eighteen. Since 2017, LaResha has worked hard to build a life for herself. She started at Popeyes, where she quickly advanced from crew member to manager, demonstrating her dedication and responsibility. LaResha is also a devoted mother to three children, whom she considers her greatest accomplishment. She continues to prioritize their well-being and is focused on providing them with the life she never had. Her commitment to her family is truly admirable. LaResha is a resilient individual who, despite facing many struggles throughout her life, has remained determined to create a better future for her children. Her dedication to her family, strong work ethic, and ability to adapt to difficult situations make her a truly remarkable person.
