Nathan is a great example of resilience. He was placed in the foster care system twice—once as a toddler and again at age 15. Nathan is deaf in one ear and has partial hearing in the other, but none of these challenges has stopped him from pursuing his dreams. He recently got into college and is excited to start his classes. Nathan is passionate about helping his family and hopes that owning a business will allow him to do so. He also feels strongly about helping others who have struggled and wants to give back to his community. Nathan can usually be seen with a big smile on his face, ready to seize the day!
