Neftaly, known as Nef, entered the foster system at eight and faced many challenges that helped her build resilience. After reuniting with her family at eighteen, she began healing the strained bonds from their decade-long separation. In her free time, Nef enjoys sketching, baking, playing chess, and hiking with family. Committed to giving back to the community, she aims to inspire others facing similar struggles by using her journey to uplift youth experiencing homelessness or living in foster care.
