Anthony has been in the foster care system since the age of 12, after being abandoned by his mother when he identified as LGBTQ+. Over the years, he has participated in individual therapy to address the feelings of abandonment. Due to many challenges in his life, Anthony fell behind in high school and was unable to graduate on time. However, he continues to attend high school and is working towards earning his diploma. In his free time, Anthony enjoys writing music and poetry, which help him express himself. He also likes to participate in youth activities, such as youth groups.
