Mike is an ambitious young adult who works part-time while taking classes full-time at his local community college. He is pursuing a degree in human services with a focus on gerontology. As an excellent student, Mike has successfully completed the first year of his program. He is also involved in a mentorship program at the college that supports young adults who have aged out of the foster care system. Having previously been in foster care himself, Mike is now living independently.
