While she feels fortunate to have had a kind and caring foster parent, she still often experiences feelings of displacement and isolation. Despite these challenges, Amaya takes pride in her perseverance in education and her overall resilience. Looking ahead, she envisions herself graduating from college and beginning her dream career.
