Makyra, along with her twin sister, entered the foster care system at birth and experienced several placements before being placed with a permanent family. She is a kind and compassionate young woman who has naturally taken on the role of protector, often speaking up on behalf of her sister. Makyra is intelligent, focused, and determined, with a clear vision for her future. In her free time, she dedicates herself to studying, reflecting her strong commitment to her education and career goals. She is enrolled in a Medical Assistant program while simultaneously working a full-time job, demonstrating her work ethic and perseverance. While she is beginning her career as a Medical Assistant, Makyra has long-term aspirations of advancing to become a Registered Nurse.
