Edgardo is a foster youth committed to his personal and educational growth, motivated to acquire the skills necessary for independence. He enjoys staying active and attends Ju-Jitsu classes weekly to improve his skills. Edgardo has adapted well to difficulties, showing the ability to keep moving forward. He has learned important life skills like self-advocacy, problem-solving, and responsibility ahead of many of his peers.
