Iris is a dedicated transfer student majoring in Psychology, motivated by her passion for supporting children in the foster care system. Her career goals are shaped by a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who face challenges similar to those she has witnessed and learned about. Outside of her academic commitments, Iris enjoys expressing her creativity through scrapbooking and working with oil pastels. She also finds joy in music and takes every opportunity to participate in campus events that help her stay engaged with the university community. Iris is deeply committed to service. She volunteers as a tutor at a local elementary school, where she provides academic support and mentorship to young learners. Additionally, she serves as a student ambassador and active volunteer for the Foundation for California Community Colleges, contributing her time and energy to support educational initiatives at a nearby community college.
