Makenzie is a wonderful and brilliant young lady. Through her hard times in transition, she has been resilient and has been able to focus on school and her future goals. This year, she won a grant to travel to several states with her school by writing a more than an excellent essay. Makenzie is well-mannered to her caregiver and social workers and is also a beautiful person inside and out to her friends and to those of us who know her.
