Eva is a resilient and determined mother whose strength has been shaped by surviving foster care, domestic violence, and ongoing housing instability. Entering foster care at just three years old, she learned early how to navigate constant change and hardship. As an adult, she made the brave decision to leave an abusive relationship to protect herself and her son, rebuilding their lives from shelters and temporary housing while continuing to move forward. Despite currently experiencing homelessness again, Eva remains deeply committed to her education and is working full-time toward her bachelor’s degree while raising her son. She refuses to let her circumstances define her future, pushing forward with courage and purpose to break generational cycles and create stability for her child. Cooking brings her peace and creativity, quiet moments watching shows help her recharge, and her son, kind, funny, and big-hearted, is her greatest source of joy and motivation.
