Cassieon’s parents gave up their rights during a crucial transitional period in her life. She grew up with a mother who continues to struggle with alcoholism, which has left Cassieon grappling with feelings of abandonment, questioning her worth, and wondering why the people meant to protect her were not able to stay. Despite these challenges, she is hardworking, communicates well with her entire support team, and is navigating the responsibilities of living alone while finishing high school. She carries a lot of adult responsibilities at a young age but still finds joy in her passions—she loves makeup and enjoys cooking, exploring new recipes now that she has her own space. After graduation, Cassieon hopes to attend community college and continue pursuing her education, determined to build a bright and independent future.
