Axel is a resilient and thoughtful boy who has been on a significant journey in foster care. He was removed from his parents' home along with his siblings due to past domestic violence and substance abuse in the home. While his parents have since worked to overcome their substance use challenges, Axel and his siblings experienced time apart, and his older siblings are now being adopted. Axel currently lives with his younger sister. He misses his siblings deeply but continues to show strength and perseverance as he adjusts to these changes. Axel has many wonderful qualities that make him special. He is active, creative, and determined. He enjoys playing basketball, especially as a defender, which helps him clear his mind and stay focused. He looks up to Curry from the Golden State Warriors and enjoys spending time outdoors playing during his free time. Axel also loves playing Roblox and attending school, where he particularly enjoys creating artwork. His creativity, love for sports, and ability to find healthy outlets for his emotions highlight his resilience and positive spirit.
