Gina’s life has been shaped by resilience. As a former foster youth and a survivor of domestic violence, she has faced many challenges from a young age. When the violence in her life became too much to endure, Gina made the brave decision to leave her home in order to protect herself and begin again. For a time, she lived in a shelter while searching for stability and safety. Today, Gina is slowly rebuilding her life. She shares her days with her beloved support dog, who has become an important source of comfort and companionship in her healing journey. Gina finds joy in simple moments. One of her favorite things is taking walks with her dog in the sunlight, feeling the warmth on her face, and reminding herself that she is still here, still strong, and still moving forward. What makes Gina special is her quiet determination to keep going and her ability to find small moments of peace and hope after everything she has endured.
