Sandra is a survivor of decades of domestic violence who continues to show deep compassion, thoughtfulness, and kindness. She consistently puts others first and expresses genuine appreciation for the support she has received and for the peers she has connected with through various programs. After graduating from an employment-focused program, Sandra secured a position at a community center, where she found great meaning in serving and giving back to her community. Although she had to step away from work due to recent health challenges, Sandra remains committed to her recovery and looks forward to returning to community-based work when she can.
