Janie and her older sister were removed from the care of their parents due to their ongoing domestic violence, and allegations that men coming in and out of the home to purchase drugs were sexually abusing Janie and her sister. Janie is bright and curious, and very much enjoys active play, movement, and hands-on activities that keep her engaged. She is learning how to follow structure and is making progress with transitions, though she can become restless when she has pent-up energy.
