Jacob is the youngest in his family and has taken on added responsibility throughout his early life, helping support his single mother who has health challenges. Jacob's family has experienced homelessness and has been able to reunify as a result of a supportive housing program. Despite these sources of stress, he remains resilient, dependable, and focused in and out of the classroom and extracurricular activities. He enjoys listening to music in his free time, using it as a way to relax and stay motivated. His maturity, selflessness, and dedication to his family make him truly special.
