Blake has had to overcome many obstacles in his life — challenges that were beyond his control and that continue to affect him daily. Blake was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and was the victim of a Traumatic Brain Injury during infancy, which ultimately led him into the foster care system. Although Blake continues to face many struggles, with the love and support of his adoptive parents, he has made significant improvements in his health, education, socialization, and willingness to engage and participate in activities with others.
