He graduated high school with a 3.0 GPA and has an IEP background, which means he's learned to advocate for himself in systems that don't always make it easy. He knows the barriers he's up against, including mental health challenges and limited income, and he names them directly rather than around them. What stands out about Devon is that he has a specific destination in mind. He's not looking for a general fresh start. He wants to build credit, develop career skills, improve his communication, and get his finances in order so that when he finishes his training, he has somewhere solid to land. He's asking for support and structure. He's ready to use both.
