Camille entered foster care at 12 and aged out on her own. She's currently enrolled at California State University Sacramento and working a part-time job as a student assistant, bringing in around $1,000 a month while keeping up with her coursework. She's pursuing a trade program and has a clear sense of what she needs to succeed: structure. Camille has ADHD, and she knows that a stable, predictable environment isn't just helpful for her — it's essential. Before coming to AcademySTAY, she experienced uncomfortable power dynamics in campus housing that made it difficult to feel safe or settled. She'd never had a place of her own. She's interested in building her financial literacy, budgeting skills, and social confidence. She's open to group therapy and financial literacy classes. She comes in motivated, self-aware, and already doing the work — she just needs a foundation that holds.
