Edgar came to the United States approximately four years ago in search of greater opportunities and a better future. After experiencing significant family separation and instability, and abandonment by his bio family, he has found love, consistency, and support with his foster mother, who cares for him as her own. Despite the challenges he has faced, Edgar remains a resilient and determined young person with a passion for boxing. He trains at a boxing club hosted by the LAPD four days a week and participates in tournaments, demonstrating remarkable commitment, discipline, and courage. Boxing has become much more than a sport for Edgar - it provides structure, confidence, emotional support, and a positive community where he can build healthy relationships. His dedication reflects his strength and unwavering determination to overcome adversity and create a bright, promising future for himself.
