AB is a resilient and compassionate young adult dedicated to creating a meaningful future through education and service to others. Her journey began at the age of six when she first entered the foster care system, and she was eventually adopted. However, at fifteen, she re-entered foster care, where she remained until aging out of the system. These challenging experiences have profoundly shaped her determination and resilience, fueling her desire to build a successful future. Currently attending college, Abcde is working toward becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) while also exploring her interests in American Sign Language (ASL) and tattoo artistry. Her goal is to build a career where she can make a positive impact on the lives of others through compassionate care. Abcde describes her greatest strengths as her resilience and compassion. Having overcome significant challenges, she has developed the ability to persevere through adversity while maintaining empathy for others. She is especially passionate about helping individuals who have experienced difficult circumstances, using her own life experiences to inspire and support them. Outside of academics, Abcde enjoys listening to music, drawing, learning sign language, going to the gym, and tattooing. These hobbies allow her to express her creativity, stay active, and continue learning new skills.
