Jovi, 7 years old, OR
Jovi is living in a kinship placement with his aunt and uncle alongside his siblings. As he adjusts to his new home, the transition has been difficult at times. Jovi misses his pets and often thinks about his life before moving in with his aunt and uncle. Being away from the familiar people, places, and routines he knew can be hard, but he is slowly getting used to his new surroundings. Jovi has also been working on building a new sense of connection in his new community. He is making new friends and beginning to find activities that he enjoys. He is especially excited to sign up to play basketball, which will give him a chance to have fun, stay active, and spend time with other kids. These new friendships and activities are helping Jovi create positive experiences while he continues adjusting to his new home.
