Karina is a young woman who has been through a lot. She came to the United States as a young teen and was separated from her family. She spent time in multiple different family and foster homes before settling in a home with a caring woman after she turned 18. During that time, she also endured a difficult medical situation that required surgery. Karina is now expecting her first child and is excited for this next chapter.
